I am interested in sedation...

Child undergoing sedation in the dental office

What do I need to do?

Call us at (949) 478-2741. Provide us your dentist's information and telephone number and we will set up an appointment for you and your doctor.

We will walk you through the process and answer all your questions.

What is Intravenous Sedation?

It is sedation administered in the vein to help you overcome your anxiety and ease your discomfort.

Added benefit: Your dentist can perform a lengthy, complex dental treatment that usually is staged over multiple times in one visit.

What will I feel? See here for different types of anesthesia we offer

The night before.

You need to be fasting from food and drinks for 8 hours before the procedure. You can have clear drinks such as water, black coffee, tea without milk or sugar etc up to 2 hours before the procedure. (No juices with pulp)

What is the benefit of sedation?

  • Pain and anxiety-free dentistry
  • Ease patients apprehension especially if you are hesitant to proceed due to anxiety, negative dental experience, strong gag-reflex, resistance to local anesthetics or existing anxiety disorders.
  • Extensive dental makeovers or reconstructive procedures that typically require multiple appointments can be performed in fewer visits.
  • Anterograde amnesia, because the mind can't create any new memories. This will help reduce the fear that you will have on following visits.
  • The dentist can work faster if squirming and moving are minimized.

What payments do we accept?

We accept checks, money orders and all major credit cards. A one-hour deposit is required to reserve.
